Ticking noise problem. Need help

Hey guys. I done a timing belt on my half trac. 2 years ago and now it is ticking. The ticking seam to go with the car acceleration. The higher the rpm the louder it gets. It not a rod knock because that not where the sound is coming from. It coming from the head. I check on the timing again and it is dead on with the original mark. I have torque down head stud and cam shaft stud to spec. Anymore ideas I should check before I start to replace the lifter. How would u adjust the spring for the lifter. Any idea would help me a lot. Pretty much stuck and scratching my head at this time.

I have the same problem. Mine is the belt tensioner goin bad, so the belt slaps the plastic cover. Did you replace tensioner idler pulleys and water pump while it was out?

While the engine is running, pull one spark plug wire at a time to see if the sounds goes away. Then you'll know which cylinder is causing this problem. I have the same problem but I am fairly certain it is an exhaust leak on my car.
