W/A Heat Exchangers

What are my fellow ST185 owners using for heat exchangers? I assume most are running the stock units off a Mustang Cobra. Any other good options out there?

brand name upgrades are on the money.

Next best is a custom quality core. air ducting is very important and overlooked.

Back in the day people used to pull radiators off Sub compacts to use as heat exchangers. I vote for custom or something like you find off a cobra.

I'm using the LFP dual pass made as an upgrade for the Cobras. Fits great in the CS front bumper. Removes any sleeper effect a WTA system might normally have. Everyone just assumes its an ATA intercooler

I did not realize the standard heat exchanger was a problem?

Are there good gains in cooling to be had with an upgraded heat exchanger?

I don't believe the stock CS/RC heat exchanger is much of a problem. I went with the LFP because it was cheaper and easier for me to obtain than the factory parts.

Car is in storage so you'll have to wait till the spring for pictures...

Just pull out a tape measure and compare to the measurements for the rads on eBay.

This is with an RC front setup mind you.
