I have a dead st165 all trac.
I endurance road race a 1991 v6 mr2 using supra front brakes and rx8 front disks on the rear.
Converted rear splines to Camry so I can easily and cheaply get axles.

So now need another endurance race car.

88 all trac. 3mz v6 powered. That is the easy bit.
I need to be able to use the same wheels 17x9 +25 with 4x 265 40 17 tires that I use on the mr2 to keep cost and spares down.

Saw this thread via google.

So.. Brakes.

Need 5x114.3 pcd. Would like to use the same brake setup as well. But that is the easy part.
Or have you found an easier more available setup? I just purchased $3500 worth of mr2 racing brake pads for 2014. Would be nice to be able to use the same setup lol....

So before I dig into RockAuto and sort out the hubs and get an over the counter brake system built using my mr2 gear on the st165, what info do you have that can get me a good reliable braking system that will last 24 hours like my v6 mr2 setup?

So I cross referenced rockauto and a few other sources.

Fronts are rav4. I know these fit as they are what we use to convert mk1 mr2 to 5x114.3 pcd. $50 each at rockauto. I have a stack of them. So no costs.

Rears are highlander hubs. Just strip them and they will fit the alltrac bearing. Is this right? They have the same spline as the alltrac rear axles? $44 each at rockauto. Hella cheap.

I have no experience with the back hubs but the front hubs are definitely rav4.

I saw on toyodiy that it said front and rear alltrac bearings use the same part number, might be worth checking if the alltrac spline rear axle and bearing ID are the same as the OD of the rav4 hub just to check.

Brake wise there is tons of different stuff haha I run stoptechs (st40 calipers off an evo) with is350 rotors

really stupid quick question,
is there any reason we cannot bore out and re drill to the 114.3mm pcd standard Toyota rotors?
seems easier than buying new rotors.

IMO - there is a lack of surface area on the face of the rotor to safely re-drill to 5x114.3 mainly due to the handbrake adjustment hole being located between two stud points.
