I see. Thanks for the reply. Since my housings would be made from scratch my spindle mounting points could be where ever it needs to be. Your specs won't help me much since your running higher. I will be about 1.9" lower than stock. I guess I will have to crunch more numbers and see if these will work for me at the height I want

Well ive made the tube as low as it can go without fouling on the CV boot.

To go lower without loosing bump travel youll have to use super short inserts (8611-1257), or modify your towers (like TTE WRC cars were).
Im not sure if the 8611-1257 will have the same nice digressive compression damper valving that the 1259 do.

The place that makes the housing makes them for the 8611-1257 already, so that may be my option. Its shorter than the 8611-1259 and might do what I need. Guess I'll start making a part list and see what I can work out vs off the shelf.
