check the relief spring assembly in the old pump. i'd guess it has debris holding it open.

Did you check this?
I have heard of the oil relief valves getting stuck open.

BTW... are you sure your oil pressure gauge is accurate?

Im not using the relief valve eny more.

Same goes for the stock water/oil cooler.

Instead I have a sandwich plate with a 80 degrees thermosat going to a remote filter and 16 row cooler

yes . I trust the meter

Could the thermostat throwing oil in the relief valve return when opening?

I mean when the oil is cold I have 95psi! On idle. ..
dropping to 75 psi after a 10min drive. ...

now I think the pressure drops when the thermostat opens???

How does the relief valve get rid of the excessive oil?
Could I blok that?

It must go wrong there...

you don't seem to know what i'm talking about with the relief spring. it's in the oil pump, not the filter housing. it is what dictates the oil pressure.

Its got a brand new 5s oil pump now.
Only done the test miles now.

And no.. I did now check the one in the new pump or the old one.
