Noise coming from cam belt cover

On reving my 92 gt4 CS I can hear an unusual rattle when the revs are coming down. It's def coming from the cam belt cover area and it only happens when the revs are coming down, not when going up. It sounds like a tensioner or something rattling and quite worried about it. .

Didn't get a chance to whip off the cam belt cover yet but I suspect a tensioner bearing or something starting to go. .?

Any thoughts? Thanks

Pull the cover off and go from there. Anything outside of that is speculation.
