been doing some fabrication work on Decat pipes with Flexi section in ,


so started with a Jig to make the decat up on





bottom parts of the Decat done




top half done




all ready for flexi




flexi fitted in all nice




the fun bit





all done




all cleaned and polished




the inside of the pipe







test fit of the flexi decat





all good so far but it may need a tweak hear and there, till im happy

got the Beast running today so happy with that :)
then onto more cooling mods with uprated power steering cooler fitted


than I needed a Boss for the water temp sensor to be fitted in the water elbow, so what do we do we just made 1










then fitted some heat management to the turbo

so had to find a way of getting the oil out the exhaust this seemed to work





now that all the oil is now out the exhaust it back on the car, and if more or less finished every thing off, its all up and running now

That's quite the way to remove the oil, normally I use gasoline but for the volume of an exhaust system it might be a pain to do.

I did flush it 3 times with petrol but still lots of oil in it so just used the blow torch to set it a light ;-

well that's is more or less done, nice to see it out side, still smoking a but from the oil in the exhaust but that will go over time, MOT next Friday

well bit of bad luck with the new turbo :( the seals have gone in 80miles







and I was all so not happy with the compression so doing a strip down hone and new rings









think I may have a few 2 many pistons and rods ;)
