Interior light issue

Ok, this one is a strange one for the interior lights on the 93 alltrac. During the day, the interior door and dome lights would not work normally, but at night it doesn't turn on? Again this is when the doors are open. Anyone has any thoughts this strange issue?

The door courtesy switches are a common failure on the 5th gen Celica. Does the door open light on the cluster work when the doors are open?

Sorry, typo. I meant that durring the day it works when the doors are open, but at night it doesn't.

Door switches still, I think it's just a coincidence that it has only been functioning during daylight hours and not at night.

Your right, just right now after more testing it still doesn't work and it's 7:11 AM here in San Diego, CA. So, as of right now it seems to be the door switch's.

Switches replaced and everything is now working correctly. Never thought the switches can go bad, it's a first in all the cars I and my friends have own/worked on.
