ST185 W/ Convertible Side Skirts

Postby Scrap Metal » Wed Nov 16, 2016 1:36 am

I mocked up the convertible side skirts today. I'm not sure how much I like them. It's gonna take a lot of work to get them on since 0 mounting points line up. What do you guys think?

P.S. ignore the front bumper and fender alignment... haha need to adjust that.

Maybe I'm blind, but from that angle it doesn't really look any different.

That's what I thought, the redeeming quality for me was the mud flap but not worth all that just for the guard.

What convertible did this come off of?

These were off a 92 Celica convertible.

I think the change is more apparent from a higher angle. The biggest difference is it hides the rocker panel rolling under the car. I'll try and get a better pic.

I'm surprised it doesn't line up more. Isn't the only difference the wide-body front fenders and the wide-body rear quarter panels?
