Figured I might as well start a thread, no pics yet as my phone takes forever to load them to photobucket.
Short version is I picked up my car from a member on here. Had some issues and had been sitting but had a fair amount of aftermarket parts. Drove it for a couple of months, until a nice 100+degree afternoon trapped on I35. It got HOT. Decided to sell off my aftermarket parts to go gen4.
So here we are today, a long time later and I have a gen4 engine, t3/t4 turbo setup, fmic and some time to finally work on it with my son.
The main difference on my swap is I'm doing my own wiring. Not to knock wire gap but I just can't bring myself to pay someone $500 when I am capable of it and also when I would have opened it back up to move/tuck as much as I can. I hope to be able to make a basic wiring write up later on, just to show people what is needed to get it in and running.
Should be a fun project so here we go!
