My mainstream Celica
Alright guys finally I'm starting my thread... After 2 and half owning a real GT4 and 4 year messing with GT4, I have the courage to speak in english in this website (I'm born french with no english culture whatsover).
(Update 23th September 2015)
I have a regular JDM St185 NB 1991 body swapped with a St205 engine and tranny.
I've done quite a lot on this car but I have still a LOT to do.
My mod:
Engine/Transmission
-I still have the Chargecooler
-Converted HKS blowoff valve to a dumpvalve
-WRC cam (I think) (Not installed)
-Mishimoto Rad + Fan
-ACT clutch 500lbs 6 puck with spring
-St205 torsen
-Complet rebuiled engine with all new Toyota Gasket and new bearing and ring
-Ct21b from ATS Racing
-Custom mid pipe from AP Performance
-Perfect fit Denso Fuel pump (Supra TT)
-Code 54 solved
Engine Oil: 5w40 winter 10w40summer Mobil/Amsoil/Castrol
Transmission oil: 75w90 Amsoil Severe gear. (Best oil that I used so far)
Chassis
-A "Big brake conversion" of a canadian st184. I got rid of the 2piston 1piston jdm brake
-Aerocatch hood pin
-Complet polyurethane bushing for the rear subframe and diff cushion from GT4 Racing
Brake / Clutch fluid : Ford DOT 3 brake fluid
Interior
-Autometer gauge Sport Comp I + pod
Oil pressure (Stepper motor)
AFR analog
Boost gauge (Mechanical)
Now the thing I need to do....
- New front pad
- Technafit Stainless Steel lines
- New suspension
- New wheels

Thx! @Redswan
@quieter Yeah finally! I put it in a few week ago but It run a bit weird with no boost. I need to replace my actual turbo but except this, it run pretty well!

Re: My mainstream Celica
My real problem is that I don't have anywhere hot to work. I'm stuck outside with the cold. I have pretty much all the part that I need to have a fully functionnal St185. I just don't have the "heat" and kinda the time. I also I'm really freaking broke, so I cannot ask a mechanic...

Re: My mainstream Celica
Quick update since I have nothing better to do at school! sike..
The car have been running really great since spring. I daily drive the celica for most of the summer without any drama.
Now, I will store my love for the winter. And next spring, I'm gonna get some coilover. I'm thinking buying some flatout coilover since they have a full 5 years warranty.
And I will run a new setup. Gonna try some Matrix trd 17" inch wheel with some DW or So4 in 225/45. Really excited to see how it will look!
Soon I'm going to show my gauge setup and my subframe GT4 racing "refurbish"!

-Custom Air intake by myself
-Flatout Coilover (I need to do a review on those)
-Matrix 17" (Those thing are ugly but cheap)
-Custom 3 inch exhaust (this things is awesome)

I've done my first initation in lapping and that was great! I had a lot of fun and blew up my 2 front wheel bearings but worth it.
