How to remove breather tube from valve cover

Postby CELL_PROTOTYPE_X » Fri Apr 28, 2017 9:49 pm

I want to swap this out for an AN fitting. Can anyone advise on how to remove it? (top right of pic) Is this press in? Any info would be helpful. Thank you!

I clamped the tube in a vise and rotated the vc left/right while pulling back on it. I replaced it with the racerx piece http://racerxfabrication.com/mr2-celica/misc/valve-cover-an-fittings

Thanks for the info! Did you also replace the pcv valve? I have a gen3 motor and am wondering if I should keep it or not. I see racerx also has a press in replacement for that as well.
