New member nyc/ advice

Postby Lando718 » Mon Dec 04, 2017 3:25 am

Hey everyone . I love celicas just never had a chance to get one. I’m saving up possibly buying a gt this weekend but I want parts to make It awd. Am I better off just saving up for an alltrac? I’m looking to build a st185 . If doing the fwd to awd is s better idea What parts do I need?

Yes

There are too many differences between the two chassis to make this economical, you're better off simply installing a 3S-GTE from an MR2 into the GT and calling it a day.

In case what FC Zack said wasn't 100% clear....Turning a FWD Celica in AWD would involve some serious fabrication/time/money. If you want an AWD Celica, save for an all trac or import. You can have alot of fun in a 3sgte swapped GT /GT-S, but if AWD is a must have, the real answer is buy one.
