Hello everyone, I will be having a st165 motor for sale shortly. I have my st205 almost ready to drop in. Looking for reasonable offers please.

I will send interested buyers a video of the motor running upon request. I do not get newspapers but I will use something to justify that it was recorded that day, so no bs . Motor just has an oil leak somewhere that I did not care to fix because it wasn't a daily nor was I interested in keeping the 1Gen motor anyway.

I decided to go with the 3rd gen because I liked the WTA IC set up better, plus I like the stronger internals right off the back compared to the 4th gen.

I am in LA, Ca. I just got my wiring conversion back recently. Now I am in the process of pulling out the 1gen soon and swapping clutches over.

I would like to sell the 1gen motor to someone who would like to use it for a half-trac or any other means. But if the motor does not sale in sometime next year, I will eventually tear it down and rebuild it and learn off of it and maybe swap it in a mk1 mr2 I want in the future

But, this is my 2nd time doing this st205 swap in st165. First time I did it was really great. I just realized I screwed myself over because I upgraded a ct26 at a shop and thought it was better than the 20b. Came to realize through lots of friends and online people, I actually had a worse set up and was making less power than I would have if I had stayed with the 20b.

So I am excited once again to feel a true stock st205 20b spool and what not

I know what you mean man.. my car's down right now too.. and i'm helping a friend do a 205 rebuild right now so that he can swap it into his 165 in time for toyotafest..
