so i went to my engine builder to see what he came up with as to price to rebuild my engine, meaning forged pistons and rods, along with full head build, cams, gears, valves, the works, with labor and machining it would be around 8000$, does this seem right? do i really need to build the head that much?
anyone have ideas on what i should do to bring costs down, should i buy a 3rd gen engine? thanks in advance for all the ideas.
