Removing door lock actuator/door handle

Postby lalojamesliz1 » Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:38 am

I'm trying to replace my door lock actuator but I can't remove the rod that goes from the actuator to the door handle. That yellow clip that holds the rod is causing the problem.
Anyone know how to properly remove It?

Got it, I used my Dremel to cut off the end of the rod and it slid out then I installed the replacement. Yay! Who's driver power lock work now?

From memory you pop the one end of the clip off, then rotate it and remove it.

So you mean the way I did it wasn't correct :D
Either way it's replaced :) . It was annoying to unlock the alarm and then use the key to unlock my door.
