Charge cooler pump and heat exchanger replacement

Hey everyone! As the title states, I'm looking to replace the HE and the cooler pump. I read somewhere here that someone used a mustang cobra pump to replace the oem one on the st205. I was wondering if this is a viable option. If so, is it just like a direct swap with interchanging some wires and minor stuff? Are there other pumps that could work?
And second. Any viable HE options? Saw on a thread here from 08 saying that a cobra HE was also a good option for a replacement. But it was from 08. I'm sure things have changed since then. So if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it. Finally did everything I want to do with the engine and everything else. Just need better cooling to support everything.

Looks very nice. Which HE did you end up getting though if you don't mind me asking? I was scouring the forums trying to find justification to keep the TMIC on my gt4 and found a thread that said changing these 2 parts would pretty much more than suffice for cooling needs. Maybe throwing in another fan too. Got 2 12in thin fans laying around so just need these.

I'm using a gt4play heat exchanger https://gt4-play.co.uk/shop/uprated-charge-cooler-heat-exchanger-radiator
and a mezziere WP136S pump. The water line sizes are the same, but the pump took some minor fabrication to mount to the frame. My car didn't come with a one, so it just took a custom relay to run it. If you chose to run a non-factory pump, you'll probably need to splice in a new connector to power the aftermarket pump.
