Rav4 gearbox in st185 GT-Four

Hi all,

I know this can be done but I need to figure it out how.

Anyone has experience on this? I already have a complete Rav4 Gearbox to mount on my st185.

I think there was a thread on it on celicatech.net ages ago. It can be done. Ratios will be shorter, and the box will not be as strong as stock. It has been many years since I looked at this, but I think you might need to hyrbid the 185 and rav4 axles.

Yes, that's my concern as it seems that front axles are different. Tried to search on celicatech.net without luck...

Looks like the wayback machine didn't archive their site. It may be lost for good. You may find hints of the info on here, but I can only think of one person who used to post on here who used one in their rally car. Good luck.
