Volk Te37 group buy?

Tried to order a set of Saga S Plus Bronze 18" x 8.5" wheels with flush fitment. +42/+22et (accounting for a little bulge for a 245 tire). They won't do it for just 1 set. I'm told that they would do it for multiple sets.

Any interest in a group buy? Looks like it would be about $1000/wheel. I'm willing to go down to a 17" wheel and maybe a 8" wide wheel if that creates more interest...8" wide will be around +35/+15et.

Btw, they won't make them in a 54.1mm center bore. Only 65mm so an adaptor ring set would be used which are only around $30. This is optional of course but suggested.

traffic here is pretty light these days, I imagine it'll take more than a day to find a few people interested in a $4k set of wheels.

You will not find many who want to run 18s either. If you adjust the specs you seek, you should be able to find an off-the-shelf wheel from Rays that may fit the bill. The GT86 specs might be your best bet at finding a volk wheel that fits. I run a 35et on a 9" wide wheel and 255 width tire and still am not flush in the front, but mine was setup for full travel.

This is the closest they seem to have that would suit your specs:
18x8.5JF 42et 5x100.
Their 17x8.5J 40et would be the best option unless you had 14" brake rotors. In that case, I would still likely run extended wheel studs and a 10mm spacer.
The te37 is one of my dream wheels for my 185 but the reality is, for use and replacement, I can't see spending the current market prices to put them on the car when there are other wheel options for half the price with better fitment offerings. I will have to see what my final bolt pattern is when I get my next wheels. Currently, I am 5x114, but that could change.

Before I got my current st165, I was just focusing on my '02 GT-S. I either wanted to find some TRD T3 wheels (made by Rays) or TE37. Or if I got impatient, RPF1. Bronze being the preferred color.

I actually prefer the look of the TE37, but the T3's are just one of those unicorn wheels for the 7th gen. I have seen them for sale but at about $3k for a set last time I saw them.

I was surprised to find a bronze set of TE37s in what *for me* was the perfect size & offset. 16x7 +33, 5x100. Bronze. Under 12 lbs each. And they were only $600 for the set. Well, that was the Buy It Now price. The shipping from Japan was also $600. But I was pretty happy to get the set for $1,200. A couple small spots of curb rash, and the stickers are old/damaged, but I actually didn't mind that, since it helps me not feel scared about keeping them "perfect".

All that to say, hopefully you come across a nice deal to get them for your gorgeous st185 one of these days!

Sorry to OP for the off-topic post.

I do have a source in Japan where I see some decent prices on older te37s. Ultimately, it may come down to whatever my new offset becomes. Out of all the wheels Rays makes the CE28N is their only wheel that would work in the size I want and offset for one knuckle configuration.
