Re: 88 all trac falls on its face under acceleration
Well tested the fuel pressure...…. at idle it was high around d70 PSI and went off the chart when rev'd.
This could be a separate issue but would this cause the issue i'm having. I know its either a kinked line or a bad FPR causing the high pressure.

This is what it is doing for fuel pressure.
This first one is in the engine bay at idle and slightly rev'd
second one is in the car reving.... also shows what it does when it get to a certain rpm and also the fuel pressure shoots off of the scale.

replaced the FPR. No change exact same thing... next to check the fuel return line to see if blocked

Re: 88 all trac falls on its face under acceleration
FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So after everything and replacing a few parts it turned out the entire problem was a 5 cent part.
The Previous Owner used the wrong type of washer on the fuel pulsation damper and it wasn't letting enough fuel through hence the super high pressure when measured from the filter.
Put the correct one in and now it runs like new.
Will post pics of the incorrect and correct one later.

Nope.... runs fine after correct washer was put in. I replaced the fuel pulsation damper also because I couldn't get the incorrect one off.
one on left is correct one of right you can see the washer pretty much stuck in the groove.

Holy crap .... well it was the fuel system ... but damn I'm not sure i would have found that one very fast either. Very rare you mess with one of those damn things.
Soooooo hows she run ????
