ST205 Fuel Bracket

Does anyone know for 100% sure that the fuel pump bracket from the ST205 will fit into the ST185 fuel tank, and work properly without any modifications?

For reference, here are the parts:

https://www.nengun.com/oem/parts/MjM0OT ... N0ZW0gMg== This is the ST205 one, it has a different bend in the long metal part, which I'm not sure I could detach if it didn't fit.

Also does anyone have an ST185 bracket for sale that's not completely rusty?

I can confirm an st205 fuel pump bracket needs to be chopped about an inch to fit in an st165 tank, the slight bend is still enough to fit into the fuel pickup area in the tank, but it needs to be shortened. I didnt need to do anything else but have the bracket shortened for an st165

Has this question been answered yet? I am considering putting an ST205 fuel pump and bracket into my ST185.

Someone please confirm for us, thanks.

I was under the impression the St185 and ST205 have the same fuel tank. If so either will work fine.
The ST165 has a different tank.

I've never had an ST205 tank in my hands though, so I can't say for certain.

Even if the part numbers are different for the 2 tanks they may be the same, FWIW.

GT4play says they are the same, aside from the condenser. My build thread for Lazarus actually has this info.

I have the 205 hanger in my 185 tank, with a supra TT pump. Worked fine with no modification. I also moved the little black electrical thingy over to the new hanger (riveted on). The very bottom of the hanger is a bit different but it works. Sorry I don't have a better pic with the new pump on it.
