Hard blip of the throttle, engine dies....

My st185's engine is cutting off when I clutch in after an aggressive throttle blip.

Rpms drop and engine dies.

How should I go about trouble shooting?

Mine used to do that, I cleaned my MAF, got new spark plugs and gapped them correctly, got a new rotor and cap and wires. I also replaced my o2 sensor. One or a combination fixed it. Does it happen when driving or in nuetral, because min was when driving

Happens in gear and in neutral. Plug wires, cap and rotor are fairly new. Iridium plugs have about 30k on them, guess I'll check them out as well as the afm.

There's a vacuum operated dash pot on the throttle body that's supposed to prevent the throttle plate from slamming shut. It will cushion it as it shuts. Might be worth looking into that as well as the vacuum line going to this in my car was in pretty sad shape.
