Head pulling question on ST165

My ST165 has been parked at my parents house for over a year now, it blew a headgasket as I drove to visit them, and I left it there for now.

I finally have the time to pull the head, and see what's up.

A few questions.
-What is that special tool to remove the head bolts?
-Are the head bolts torque to yield, or are they reusable?
-Do I need to bring jack, and jack stands? Anything I need to get form under?

I am gonna pack whatever tools I think I need, and pull the head.

Per Toyota, the head bolts are reusable; as long as they're not stretched.
If you're trying to double the stock power I wouldn't reuse them [I would suggest head studs then anyways]. For a stock rebuild I don't see the harm in reusing them.

As far as that tool, the link takes you to a 3/8" drive socket. I would suggest a 1/2 drive socket. Easier to put the correct torque with a 1/2 drive bar vs a 3/8 bar.

The biggest PITA is the intake manifold removal. Alternatively you could pull the head with the intake manifold on but that is difficult to remove.

Why? Is it cause its braced from the back?
