I removed a 3sgte engine from a 1990 Celica Alltrac parts car. The engine had no issues prior removal, ran pretty good. It has about 150k miles. My plan was to reseal and replace all timing related components. However, now that I have removed all accessories from the engine, I feel like a stock rebuild should be a better route. Can anyone in SoCal recommend a reputable machine shop in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, or San Bernardino counties? I found a machine shop near me in Rialto, CA with good reviews but it I'm unsure how well they know the 3sgte. I wanted to check here before I check that shop next week.
