ST205 charge cooler float sensor

Technically speaking, how does it work? I'm looking to utilize mine for a low water warning light, but I have no factory harness to hook it up to, and don't really know what the ST205 ECU does with it. Couldn't find a pinout or wiring diagram... anyone done this before?

Most likely it's a switch, not a sensor.
5v in, when switch closes 5v out to ECU.
Or more likely 5v in and out to ECU and when the switch opens the ECU loses signal.
It would be the same as the RC [and the 165 if they had one?].

On the RC the switch is closed when the float is close enough to the top, and open when it's too low. Hook it up to a multimeter set for resistance and you should see it as an open loop (infinite resistance) when the right way up with the float at the bottom, and closed loop (zero resistance) when you flip it over or push the float to the top.

Thanks I suspected as much since I don't have coolant in at the moment and it reads an open circuit. I'll test and verify agfain once I have it full but thgis does allow me to start routing wires...
