okay firstly how in the hell am I supposed to torque this bolt with the turbo in place? I seriously can't fit a wrench around it even now with it out of the engine...

secondly, how the hell do I even get the turbo back in the engine bay? It's been like 2 months now since I took it out and I seriously can't even recall how I accomplished that except that it probably involved cutting studs with an angle grinder. Service manual says next step is install gasket and 4 nuts to attach turbo. I call BS.

I use a loooooong extension and a universal. However, I have an aftermarket downpipe. . if that matters in the clearance department. Also, I can't remember if I used 1/2 or 3/8".

With an aftermarket downpipe it's much easier to get to, for the stock setup I'd remove the downpipe elbow before install. Although if I remember right the oil cooler is in the way of getting one downpipe nut onto the turbo stud so either the oil cooler can't be fully bolted on yet or you want the downpipe very loosely bolted on by only the bottom rear stud so you can swing it out of the way a bit. I do know I had the oil lines bolted to the block first and lowered the turbo/manifold assembly down onto it, I'm not sure if that's the correct method but I couldn't see any way to get to the oil feed connection properly with everything else in the way when I was taking it apart.

On and take your radiator out, I can see you've already got the hoses off so safe yourself a load of grief and get that out of the way.
