TRD Sports Thermostat 16340-SP010 Discontinued

Hello friends.

Been a long time. I've been MIA from the board for a few years, but I'm back. In that time, I noticed the TRD Sports Thermostat 16340-SP010 is now discontinued. What are you guys using these days as a replacement if you want a lower temp than OEM?

That's a shame to hear. I'm actually still running my TRD low temp thermostat. Still works after 9 years and 80,000 km. I'm sure there is an alternative out there.

I suspect my TRD thermostat is on its way out because I noticed my temp will decrease mid drive after I've reached operating temp. I've got approximately the same years/kms on it. I found NTCL, Nippon Thermostat Co. Ltd / Nippon Thermostat of America Ltd unit part # WV56TM-68SV still available.

What are you currently using for coolant? Toyota Super long life or the original long life?

Since I've owned the car I've always used Toyota "Red" Long Life and then I mix it with distilled water 50/50.
