Well, the engine is toast, all the plastic bits got sucked into the rest of the block... time for a new one.

kool 100 mile :shrug: i have it if you don't.
i will be pissed if you sit on the net all night being how you bitched out on the springs~ even tho i drove down just to help and sat in rush hour traffic for some 60 odd miles. if you change your mind i will come and get you 8)

it probably did.... we didnt find much in the oil pan (a couple bits), but i doubt celica's were ever meant to sound like a diesel truck

damn if it sounded that bad then it is in all four bearings. we can tare it apart and see after we get the new motor.

Any plastic sucked up is not your problem. It won't melt, not hot enough. Lack of oil most likely. If your oil pump pick-up screen was already partially clogged, then maybe that did it if pieces were small enough.

yea, u could see bits of plastic on the other side of the mesh/ filter... the bits def small enuff
