ST162 Cluster into ST165

Postby killemalltrac » Wed Nov 27, 2013 3:53 pm

Before I do this I was wondering if anyone had done it or knew if it would work. I would like to delete the factory boost gauge and also use the voltage meter in the 162 cluster if possible. I am planing to finish stripping my parts car (ST162) this week and the cluster is one of the things I have been excited for.

I'm fairly positive they are. Although I haven't done it ... Have one and thought about it but just left it alone. I'm sure someone else out there has ...

Ive always thought about doing this on my 185. Maybe even using an MR2 cluster so I can mount a gauge in it like many people do.

You would have to hook up the voltage meter senders. I know over at, Chris D, has done a fair amount of work fitting aftermarket gauges into the stock 162/165 cluster. You may want to d oa search for this threads.

It's easily doable, just unhook the 165 dash electrical connectors and hook up the 162 dash no mods necessary
