Guage help and opinion

Im planning on getting a Triple A-Pillar Pod. Im getting the Autometer C2 guages in Boost,Air fuel, Oil Pressure. I was wanting to know if electical full sweep guages will work with the existing signal that that the car recieves for the boost and oil pressure in the dash already. Or will i have to get mechanical guages. Also are the C2 guages a good guage to get?

They won't work with existing sensors. Any gauge you buy will come with a sender of its own.

Narrow band (autometer) o2 meters are useless. Get a wideband, don't bother, or get a more useful gauge like oil temp.

The "idiot light" for oil pressure doesn't receive any kind of variable sensor value. It's a simple pressure switch, under 15 psi or so and the idiot light comes on.

It is an extremely bad idea to use any kind of mechanical fluid gauge (oil, fuel press) in the interior of a vehicle.
