how to get power to aftermarket deck....

when the factory amp is unplugged???

i replaced the crap deck in my 92 celica alltrac, and for the life of me could not get power to the new deck, i replaced all the interior speakers and installed a new amp, when everything was said and done i couldn't get any power to the new deck. on a hunch i plugged in the factory amp and low and behold the new deck gets power now.
how do i remove the factory amp and still get power to my deck???
neither the 12v acc or the 12v constant gets power with it unplugged
if i unplug either one of the two plugs on the factory amp i lose power to my deck. i dont have room under my seat for both amps...so the factory amp needs to go away

And the answer is:
you have run a jumper wire from one amp plug to the other....i'll leave it to the all knowing gurus on here to figure which 3 you can jumper

is there another site i can goto for technical information? cause this site is terrible

absolutely not...

this site is the worst for trying to get information....FWIW you have to splice the red/grey to the blue/yellow

show me anywhere on your worthless schematic where is shows that?
