Got back from the first funs on the jdm motor.

The intercooler was leaking badly out the back. Really really badly.
I can pull a 2.1 60' now without much problem, but with the boost leak, the time fell to 16.1 best. disregard the total time.

With the 60', the car squatted so much that the front wheels pulled up far enough for me to spin them. Now that's a lot more power than I had before: or maybe just the SPEC Clutch.

Anyhow, that's it for the racing season here, just thought i'd share.

What are your mods? And what year of jdm motor did you swapped in?

90-91 jdm motor.
Other than this: T04 46t upgrade

Keep in mind that I am a mile above sea level, my intercooler was leaking all my boost, and I have run a 15.0 in the past.

Yah I hate altitue... :shoots: 3500 ft above sea level here...

An aftermarket clutch does wonders for these cars...you can pull off some *wicked* launches with a good one. Probably the best mod to do for the track imho.
