Went to the midnight drags tonight at Rocky Mountain Raceway, and on my first run with a pathetic 1.84 60', I ran a 10.94 @ 136.84 mph. 8)

Here's the time slip and video of the run:

The second run would have been faster, but I blew an intercooler pipe half way down the track. Because of the track having so many people and there being a few blowups shutting down the strip for 30+ minutes at a time, everyone only got two runs. Kinda sucks cause I was ready to throw down some better times!

Next week I plan on making it down to the last Midnight Drags of the year, and see if I can run a mid/low 10... I need to redeem myself for running such a slow time for that mph! :p

Uh oh, Pat has some serious competition! Nice run Trevor. I'm sure as you get used to the car the times will only get lower. I am very excited to see what you can do!

Nioce!

Should set up an in camera car too, that would be cool.

Also, a $20 tripod goes a long way. Super useful investment I've found.

Congrats ! :D

What kind of 0-60 times does that translate into?

Well I was doing 107 mph in 7 seconds for the 1/8, so I would assume 0-60 is probably somewhere in the 3 second neighborhood.

I'm running some 24.5" x 8.5" M&H slicks on my stock set of rims. But I didn't do a burnout before the run, and they were brand new, so I'm sure that relates to them spinning so bad out of the hole!

How in the hell can you manage a burnout with this awd car? I am curious. I know how to do it in a rwd car.

Just rev it up and dump the clutch. Does it pretty well actually. It will shoot the car forward though. Can't just sit there and roast the tires without the car shooting forward, if that's what you're getting at...

I see. So how much faster do you think this setup will get you? How are these gear ratios treating you during the runs? Too short, too long or just right?
