Sorry for the confusion.

We're running 17x8 with a 215/40/17 tire.

I'm currently running 18x8 (et35) wrapped in 215/35/18. Swapping them out in the next few weekto 17x8/17x9 wrapped in 235/45/17 and 215/45/17

I am trying to decide on a wheel size and am not sure what will fit best. ST165 with GC coilovers. I want to run a 16 inch wheel and these are the available sizes.
16X8+25
16X9+15
16X9+25

Should I stick with the 8 inchers or try for the 9? and if I go with the 9 should I get the lower offset? Thanks guys!!

Bumping a super old thread here, but when I searched for the wheel weight for an st165 this seemed the most relevant. That said, it has a ? listed for the weight.

Has anyone ever weighed the OEM 1988+ 14" st165 wheels?

On a similar note, does anyone know if the USDM 1986-87 Celica GT-S wheel is the same as what was used on the 1986-87 GT-Four? They look the same. My first car (an '86 Celica ST) had wheels with a very similar design to those, but they were 4 lug and 13". Oddly, I don't think I have ever seen those 4 lug wheels for sale or even pictured online, only the 5 lug GT-S wheels. Too bad I sent them to the scrap yard with the car!

I figure I may put the 14" GT-S wheels on an st165 if I wind up getting one again. Mainly because they are so similar in design to the wheels on my first car. I doubt there's any significant weight difference either way with those wheels, but wouldn't mind knowing the weight on those either if anyone knows.

For reference, the ones that look like this:
