ST165 mirrors on ST185?

Anyone do this before?

Are the ST165 mirrors a direct bolt-on or is some modification needed? If so, could you elaborate on how you got them to fit?

I hate the ST185 mirrors...wondering if the ST165 might look better on my car.

I know a guy on the old board put 185 mirrors on his 165...but never responded to my questions about whether that was a direct fit or not.

Anybody got a pair of old ST165 mirrors they dont want so I can try it out?

You might wanna consider 6th gen mirror.
The 4th gen mirror is square and probably won't look nice on the 5th gen celica.

have you seen the folding mirrors found on the jdm models? They dont have the separation in middle like the usdm do. look around on ebay, i always see sets up for sale.
