body kit difference between 90 hatch and 90 2door coupe

Postby AshtonsAlltrac » Fri Mar 03, 2006 5:50 am

this might sound dumb, but i was looking at body kits for my all trac. I guess no one really makes a specific kit for the all trac body. What's the difference between the two body styles. (all trac vs. st & gt) What mods do I need to make a kit fit?

really depends on what kit your looking at.

I had an ST and a GTS that I kit'd.
the GT model came in both trunk and hatch form.
most bodykits are made for the non-usdm GT hatch (wide licence plate) thought the vader2 is made specific per body style.

All-tracs are almost exactly the same body style to a gts

gt & st are narrow bodies, so the kits out there wont match up to our fenders, so you have to cut and extend the bumpers to fit properly. Thats what it pretty much comes down to, but know this body kits are a perfectly good way to ruin a rare car like an alltrac. Personally I would consider going with a cs/rc bumper as the final touch to the look of the car. .02 cents.
