Speed sensor

Hi people I have a major problem with my gt4 st185 Carlos sainz I got a new speed sensor inserted it into the gearbox and she's still not moving there is plenty of power in the power terminals I also got a new speedo clock thinking it was that and clearly its not.. Iam puzzled how this has happend any help would be appreciated...

On a USDM st185 the sensor is mechanical so when working the key that goes into the speedometer rotates as you drive the car. On a JDM st185 is electrical, so it might have an analog output or PWM (my guess). Only way to check is with a DVM or oscilloscope.

However, if the mechanical driven gear is fine (the one attached to the speed sensor), the culprit can be the gear inside the transmission. My st185 has keeps breaking the driven gear on the speed sensor, so I just gave up on it until I do a st205 tranny swap.
