Hi everyone. I don't have an alltrac but I'm looking for one. A little bit about myself. I drive an automatic 98 Corolla. I only know how to change my oil, brakes, rotors, and the timing chain tensioner which was leaking oil, but I want to learn more (my car is very reliable and doesn't give me anything to work on, which is good for a daily driver). I don't even know how to drive stick (but my roommate will teach me in his car tonight if I buy him sushi). I would like to buy a car intended for racing, for working on / restoring, and for learning more about cars in general. I'm more interested in rallying than auto cross or drifting.

So I've been looking for a car to buy and I've settled on a Celica alltrac. I've seen a number of 88's, but they've been sold :(. There is one on x600.net that I could take the train to get to, but I'm still undecided about that one. And then that's where I found this site. So the search continues lol. I look forward to learning more about these alltracs on this forum! And hopefully I can find one that isn't so nice that I would be afraid of tearing it up, but isn't in such bad shape that it doesn't even run.

Welcome to the last forum you will ever need w/ the exception of the vendors and celicatech. Finding a decent st165 will be a slight mission due to its legacy. Mind me asking you, where in socal are you located?
