Had planned on buying a 1994 alltrac turbo with the new model year, only to learn it had been discontinued in the U.S.. Bummer! So I immediately hit the three or four relatively nearby dealers in hopes of finding a '93 leftover. I was immediately dismissed by "Don't bother us; none available!" Or "What the Hell's that? Never heard of it!"
So I called Toyota to see if they could help me find one and was advised they did not have access to dealer inventories.(Remember, this was Oct., 1993: very unsophisticated internet!) But they did give me the names and phone numbers of several more dealers. First call I connected with a sales manager who wasn't dismissive. He didn't have one, but thought one could be found. "Come see me, and we'll begin a search!", he said. So l did, and they did, and I bought my brand new, Super Red, Alltrac Turbo, and the adventure began! More postings to follow...
