Still haven't decided between Beams red top and ST205 engine. Covid19 analysis paralysis

Still need to drop gas tank off for restoration.

Still need to get engine out. Hurts that the car is 4 hours away. Oh well I have other ways to explore our dirt roads

Scored a ST202 shifter from the junkyard today. $20 short shift kit. Still haven't seen a 4th gen at the junkyard in 2020. Crazy

Pulling parts from ST165 engine and transmission

PM if you need anything. Bottom end is broken. Everything else seems good. Well maintained car.

Old ST165 engine is stripped and new ST205 is on the stand.

Got a specialist tool to get the crank bolt off. Geez it is torqued down tight.

It is still left of center like the ST165 and ST185. The big difference is the intake runners being 4 big ports.

I'm not all that familiar with the 205 engines I thought they were all side feed intake manifolds unlike the 165 and 185

All ST205 engines have centre-feed intake manifolds, just like 165 and 185.
Caldina (ST215) has the side-feed
