I acquired a 1989 Camry alltrac last weekend and am acquiring another Camry 89 manual this weekend. Until a few weeks ago I didn’t even know a Camry alltrac existed and I’ve owned camrys since I’ve started driving years ago. This next Camry alltrac I’m getting is the same exact year and manual as the one I have now but from what I’m told the engine is blown up and there is no title for it. I’m kind of trying to decide which direction to take this next Camry alltrac. Do I take all the parts off I would need and get rid of the body? Do I keep it around and attempt some of these swaps that you guys do? I’m kinda unsure but it feels like destroying an alltrac body would be just wasteful.

I mean, having a 30+ year old car and a donor car for parts...unless you don't have the space, I say keep it and use it to keep the other rolling.
