ya thats true about the top mount. never realized that. duh. anyways.....i already started the swap, and actually im getting pretty close to being done, thank god. i bought a st205 clip for my 6th gen celica, and that is definatley by far the easiest way to go. but unfortunatley i had the 2nd gen 3s just sitting around cuz that was my original plan for my 6th gen until i found the 3rd gen clip. so i bought a car to put the 2nd gen 3s in. if that kakes sense??? :D

Check the distributor cap. If should be a non-clip type.

The 1st and 2nd gen use AFM to measure air flow.
They also have a MAP sensor to measure boost for safety purpose (fuel cut).

I need an afm on my usdm 2nd generation 3sgte, could i swap the air fuel meter from a JDM motor or is this a bad idea?
