SLC Mechanic

I'm looking for a mechanic in SLC that has some experience with Alltrac clutches. Mine has been sitting in a shop for over 2 months and they haven't even dropped the engine. I'm almost desperate enough to drag it over to Toyota...

I think they're scared of the W2A intercooler...

Thanks for the input. I talked to the owner of the shop today, apparently the guy that was supposed to be working on my car wasn't working on anything and they fired him. The owner just got back from 6 weeks off for surgery. He's putting the foreman on it.

Looks like I may get my car back the second week of January. Finally... a time line...

If you still need someone to pull your motor/tranny/clutch let me know. For a reasonable price I'll do it. You'd just need to be able to get it down to my house, located in the Ogden area. PM me if interested.

Clutch wouldn't disengage, so it had to be towed. I'll post pictures of that damn spec clutch soon. One of the springs was lodged between the clutch disk and the flywheel. Car should be done this week though.

Same thing happened to mine.
Before I moved, I took my cars to this place:

Toyota & Lexus Repair Specialists
1025 S Main St
Salt Lake City, UT 84111 40.7468 -111.8909

The owner, Ralph is a nice guy. He bought my 1997 Supercharged 4Runner.

It took 5 months, but it's back on the road. Now I just need to figure out where all the new damn rattles are coming from. I think some welding and heat taping are in order...
