Slave cylinder info

Postby lalojamesliz1 » Thu Jun 13, 2019 11:39 pm

I just replaced the slave cylinder on my all-trac while trying to troubleshoot a slightly notchy shift from 1-2 and 2-3 (mainly 1-2) I think it helped a little on 2-3. Idk
I ordered a new aisin slave cylinder from rockauto. I pulled the boot/rod from my original to measure it, cleaned it and the new one and one from my st205 swap I just got (also cleaned) . The original one with 156k miles measured at 67.62mm. The one on my st205 swap measured at 68.09mm and the new one measured at 68.03mm
I thought the st205 one was worn because the shift cable bushings that go on the trans had the holes elongated but whatever.
