I have a leak in the transmission that looks like it is coming out of the axle seal on the drivers side. I pulled the axle and replaced the seal this weekend, but the leak is still there. I don't see any fluid leak above the axle and had a drip forming on the axle area last night.
When I replaced the seal, I greased the seal before tapping it in to place. I made sure not to bend the seal when putting it in.
Is there another seal in there that could be causing the leak, or am I possibly looking at a worse issue?
