That's a cool idea. Ill be watching all of them as they become available. I couldn't relate to you more about moving from somewhere with good roads to somewhere with none. Austin is cool with a great, diverse car culture. It will never, ever hold a candle to my home AZ though. I miss how the roads flow with the landscape, wind in and out like crazy. TX roads are all straight and stupid, with the exception of a few.

Thanks. I figured out some audio issues now too. I think I just need to come up with some mic solutions. I will likely start my next ones once I make some sort of steadicam setup.

Speaking of the roads... they are depressing here. I traded all my racing video game stuff for some brake calipers because I could not see the point of playing racing games when I had a gtfour in the driveway and all those fun roads. Lately I have been playing racing video games cause that is as good as it gets for me here in the winter. The only nice thing about here is the race tracks and many autox events. Of course that all costs money and more time than just doing a quick run down a back road.

Episode 2 is up. This is just a ride along while I tune my boost controller. I cut about 40 minutes out of the main video, but its still a bit long. I will also be using an external mic for future videos. Not keen on the built in gopro mic.

Thanks! The car has traveled a long path to get to where it is. It still has a long road ahead of it but I am fairly happy with it now.

I went and watched Drew Monk rallyx last weekend. Once he gets his footage edited I add it to a short interview on the car and throw up a video in the near future. Until then, here are pics.

I tore down my front suspension so I can finally get the ball joint, caster plates, and flip kit sorted on the car. I finally figured out how to remove the tein top mounts. I just had to get creative. Just look at the last pic.

I tired but that just turns the shaft. The but rests on the bearing. There is a flat spit on the shaft but there is a plate there that uses the adjustment wrench to loosen. It's about impossible to keep the wrench in the little slot without the vice grips on it. It also took a lot of force. I had to use a breaker bar to get it started.
