So its been a while since I have updated this. We have had problems with getting the Emange to work without paying the rediculus price for the cord and software when I only need the cord. Well I just ordered a Giff-Tech cord which is a custom cord made for the emanage and should be in next week. We got the car running for about 5 seconds on the stock ECU but obviously there was to much fuel for it so it would shut off. But it started up fine so hopefully once I get the emanage cable, it should be ready to hit the streets.

And this is pretty much the final product except for some minor things that will be changed around.

Finally got it started and idling decent. We still need to tune it but we drove it around the neighborhood and the A/F ratios seem to be pretty decent when its just driving but it gets extremely rich when we try and boost it. The car is loud from inside the car but my friend said it wasnt to horrible from outside.

did you use a kind of dump tube for the wastegate? because I dont think that boosting with your wastegate pointing the hood is a good idea... Sometimes fire can get out of the wastegate....

Me and my friend in the STI will probably go at it sometime next spring. Hopefully I will have a new clutch and engine management by that point. And hopefully he doesnt have the GT35r he has been wanting.

And as for the wastegate, we havent made a dump tube yet but we are just trying to get it running fine first and then figuring some way to route a tube.

Sad thing is I have no heat in it and since fall started and winter is almost here I wont have much driving time if any until next spring.
 
Fried the ECU last night. So it looks like this is going into storage early and should be back out next spring with a full standalone and clutch and the aquamist actually hooked up.
 
So I figured since its a nice day here in Ohio I would go out and hook the ECU back up and see if it starts. Hooked it all up, turned the key and started up first time no problems, seemed to drive fine down the street to my grandparents place but didnt Boost it. So dont know what the problem was before but I dont think it was the ECU now.

What were the symptoms you had before?
 
Well if the car would start it would be extremely rough and just shut off right after and the tach needle would be going crazy. But I just tried hooking up the emanage and it did it again, but with just the ECU hooked up its fine. Sooooo im pretty sure the emanage is bad. The emanage is my friends so im not really out a while lot. Should be getting an AEM EMS within the month also.
 
Little Update:

Got the AEM EMS a while back. Got the IAT sensor and made a custom flange for it where the cold start was.

Now it just needs a tune. I have had the money saved up for a while but just havent gone through with it since it needs a few more things hooked up(aquamist mainly). So it's been sitting, keeping me from getting in trouble. But my 22nd birthday is coming up very soon so as a present to myself I will finally get everything done and take it to be tuned. I miss driving it and it has become almost a unicorn of sorts to a lot of local people because they have heard about it but have yet to see it.

I got a little frivolous on my daily so it has been taking some money from my alltrac fund but I made sure to have enough for my alltrac tuning and more.
