Hello. I'm a year and a half into my Celica ownership that has turned into a passion. I bought the car for 800 dollars with a blown motor. I replaced it with the stock 5sfe. I traveled to Kentucky to buy a motor and transmission for $100. I brought it back and began my first motor swap. 10,000 miles later and I'm going strong. I've now gotten my hands on a 3sgte. I'm short a few parts but ill get around to solving it soon. Here's a quick list of what I've done for the car so far:

10-21-11: engine install
11-2011: plugs and wires, brakes
1-2012: fuel filter
3-2012: replace vsv and bvsv
4-2012: exhaust manifold gasket
9-2012: oil pan gasket
10-2012: replace alternator
3-2013: replace drive axel
4-2013: replace wheel hub assembly

It's time to add my 3s to that list. Hope you guys stay with me through the build/swap.
Thanks for looking!

Thanks a lot. I'm still in the process of identifying brackets, sensors, and other such. How did you go about wiring? Do it yourself, or ship it out and have someone else do it.
