hi , im thinking of buying a set of rims . the size is 5x100 18x8 offset +30 .with 225/40 R18 tires. im just wondering if it's gonna rub on my fender well when turning , my car is a 1990 gt4 narrow body. is this the right offset for my car for 18" rims. have a nice day guys.

I think that setup will be too wide for a narrowbody. Talk to Corey (Darling) as iirc he also had fitment probs with his Crono's on his narrowbody?

We're going to be mounting 16x8 et38 on a narrowbody soon. I'll let you know how that turns out. The car is on Tein SS.

i just found out that the 18x8 with a +30 offset wont fit, even rolling the fenders. (on a narrow body style). im trying a 18x 7 rims . ill see if it works,

ive got a set of 17x7 w. 225 45r17 tires on a narrow body and they rub with the fenders rolled also.only in the back tho when hitting a bump in the road..not sure of my offset tho... and im running 38mm wheel spacers in the rear..

I have 17x7 38mm offset and 215/40/r17 rub on stock narrow body fenders but are fine when unprofessionally rolled. Car is not excessively low.

I'm running 18x8.5 et42 with 225/40/18 in the rear (rolled/massaged) with 15mm spacers and 215/40/18 up front with no spacers. I honestly think 235s can fit all four corners on a ST165 with the right offset. HTH..

Sorry I should have mentioned my car is a 91 ST185 widebody AllTrac. Will 18x7.5 with 42offset fit?
