Loud humming from the rear!

Whats up guys?!

Picked up my GT4 last night. Took her for a good spin, nothing crazy, just drove for about 30min or so.

There is a very loud, humming noise coming from the right rear of the car.

When driving at oh say 40mph, its deafening!

Also, once you shift the cars weight, say to the left, like when you make a right hand turn, the noise is gone.

I'm thinking wheel bearing?

Anything else I should look for?

I did take a quick look at the brakes and the rear rotors are horrible, pads are probably bad too.
I have noticed that the car doesn't stop as well as you'd expect.

When you guys give the brakes a good slam does it through you forward a bit? I can slam them and the car doesn't really lurch like I think it should.

i would say the wheel bearing is bad
normally when a humming noise is heard and then noise gets quieter when turning on the HIGHWAY at higher speeds
it normally indicates bad wheel bearing

you should look up the torque specs for the axle nut and retorque to see if its loose

That sounds identical to what i'm dealing with.

I will sure make sure everything is torqued to spec.
